Version wording: the public version is 1.0.0-beta.2 (build 27); the in-app update channel is internal, and the update mechanism defines three valid channels: internal/rc/release.

Source and release package both come from build 27: the open-source repo github.com/Blacstar7/sin-clean is published under the MIT License, copyright holder Di Tian.

Publicly released: the site direct link and GitHub provide the same DMG installer through two channels; see the checksums section below for SHA-256 values.

Hosting status: the GitHub open-source repo (source and releases) and the site direct link run in parallel, serving identical content.

macOS14.0 or later
ProcessorApple Silicon (arm64); Intel support undecided
Installed sizeAbout 3.5 MB (DMG 3,626,907 bytes)
MemoryNo additional requirements
DiskNo additional requirements

Basis: the app's minimum system version is macOS 14.0, injected into Info.plist by project-level Debug/Release configurations; the current build supports Apple Silicon (arm64) only, Intel support undecided.

提示

"No additional requirements" for memory and disk is the product line's stated position, not a measured result; this page states no speculative numbers.

Provenance: where this site's numbers come from

The installed size, DMG size, and checksums on this page come from the site's own measurements of the release artifacts: the current public package is build 27 (1.0.0-beta.2, final-verified dual-channel release on 2026-10-12); at every build release the site forcibly re-verifies the SHA-256 and refuses to publish if it differs from the registered value.

Source code and releases are hosted in the GitHub open-source repo (github.com/Blacstar7/sin-clean); this site offers the same DMG as a direct link — both channels serve identical content.

提示

For comparison: build 23 (3,468,271 bytes) was the previous internal release package, now superseded by build 27; this site's direct link always serves only the latest public release package.

Installation steps

  1. Open the disk image

Double-click the DMG; once mounted you will see the app bundle SinClean.app (the on-disk bundle name has no space; the display name is "Sin Clean").

  2. Drag into "Applications"

Drag the app bundle into the "Applications" folder, then eject the disk image in Finder.

  3. First launch

macOS performs a source check on first launch; if blocked, Control-click (or right-click) the app icon in Finder, choose "Open", then confirm once in the dialog.

  4. macOS 15 and later

If right-click "Open" is no longer offered, go to "System Settings → Privacy & Security" and click "Open Anyway" next to the notice about the blocked app.

  5. Verify the version

Open "About Sin Clean" and confirm the version and build match this download page (1.0.0-beta.2, build 27).

Signing and notarization

The certificate subject is Developer ID Application: Di Tian (4K69D9HNGQ); both the app and the DMG are notarized, with the notarization ticket stapled into the package.

Verify yourself: run `spctl -a -vv /Applications/SinClean.app` in Terminal; it should show accepted and source=Notarized Developer ID.

  • Version info and signing subject can also be checked in the "About Sin Clean" window (version line, channel line, copyright line).
  • A stapled ticket means notarization verification completes offline — no network callback needed.
  • If the output differs from the above, do not install yet; keep the command output as material for feedback.

Checksums

The installer served by this site's direct link: file name Sin-Clean-1.0.0-beta.2.dmg, size 3,626,907 bytes, SHA-256 e6a61ba6f0f4c0805140f425e865bcf0dbd77c17eab7c3f21d649cf48a89bbe2. This value is forcibly re-verified by the site at every build release (mismatch with the registered value means no publish).

For comparison: the build 27 update ZIP on the internal channel is 3,030,619 bytes, SHA-256 72ffd2a05475cb1e4bc4949558546ebaf176494ecca813451ba8446285fc606d (matching the channel manifest).

提示

How to verify after downloading: run `shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Sin-Clean-1.0.0-beta.2.dmg` in Terminal — the output should match the table above; before installing you can verify signing and notarization with `spctl -a -vv`.

Update mechanism

The product ships with "Check for Updates…": the channel manifest is requested only when you click it; download and install happen only after confirmation; failures automatically restore the current version.

Update decisions compare build numbers strictly, not version strings; a channel mismatch, a manifest requiring a higher macOS version, or a build number not greater than the current build is all rejected.

The update manifest must carry an Ed25519 signature, verified against an embedded 32-byte public key; a missing signature, invalid Base64, or a length other than 64 bytes is rejected outright.

Before touching the current installation, the update package passes a full verification pipeline: the package exists and is not a directory, its byte count matches the manifest exactly, a byte-by-byte streaming SHA-256 matches the manifest value, and the staging volume has at least "package bytes + 64 MiB headroom" free — any mismatch is rejected.

After unpacking there is a signature trust gate (anchored on Team ID 4K69D9HNGQ, code identifier equal to this app's bundle identifier, and the new bundle's CFBundleVersion literally equal to the manifest build number), plus the requirement that the staging directory and install location sit on the same volume.

Replacement is multi-step and rollback-capable at each step: on failure it attempts restoration — a successful restore reports "The current version has been restored automatically", a failed restore states honestly that the backup remains in its original directory.

At launch, backups of unfinished updates trigger the notice "<count> unfinished-update backup(s) detected; kept, not deleted." with the directory name and recovery guidance.

Update failures and leftover events are written to the local rollback log ~/Library/Application Support/SinClean/update-rollback.log; update staging lives in ~/Library/Caches/SinClean/Updates/, and the staging directory is emptied at the end of every run, success or failure.

The update manifest also has a format gate: body no larger than 65,536 bytes (64 KiB), schemaVersion must be 1, channel must be one of internal/rc/release, and packageSHA256 must be 64 lowercase hex characters.

About download and open source

Download entries are open: this site's direct link provides the DMG installer (build 27, signed and notarized), and the GitHub open-source repo's Releases page provides it in parallel. Current status: 1.0.0-beta.2 is publicly released (GitHub repo + this site, two channels), permanently free, MIT open source.

  • Permanently free (decided 2026-10-12): no paid plans; no feature costs anything.
  • The direct link always points to the latest public release package; release history is in the Changelog and on GitHub Releases.
  • The GitHub open-source repo (github.com/Blacstar7/sin-clean) provides the source code, the license, and all release artifacts.
